Provided consulting and engineering services for the implementation of a batch control system for the P&G's Laundry Plant outside Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Scope included training the local engineering contractor on batch control methodology, developing the software architecture and PLC data table, developing logic sketches for all key control strategies and assisting the local contractor on implementing and testing the system

Developed all materials and delivered the training module, “How the Process is Controlled, Hair and Skin Care Systems” for Procter & Gamble's Process Engineering College, an on-boarding school for all new P&G engineers in the Asia Region. The materials included a working simulation of the actual control system (PLC and operator interface) used in the process area.

Packaging Technology Seminar-Manila, Phillipines

Developed all materials and delivered a training seminar on present and future packaging technologies for Procter & Gamble Asia Region Technical Systems Organization. The seminar covered four main technology areas; 1.) folding cartons, 2.) corrugated boxes, 3.) sachet films and laminates and 4.) pump and tube packages.

Superfoods New Pringles Potato Crisp Line Commissioning Support

Support for the new Pringles crisp line at the Superfoods Technology Sdn. Bhd. (Johor, Malaysia) contract manufacturing site. Scope included Providing commissioning / start-up support, design/execution of post start-up items, generation of As-Built P&ID and electrical / control drawings. Work also included implementation of an Wonderware Intouch SCADA system which displays process data, alarm conditions and historical trending.

Superfoods Pringles Potato Crisp Line MIS System

Developed a Manufacturing Information System at the Superfoods Technology Sdn. Bhd. contract manufacturing site based on Microsoft Access which automatically stores data from the Wonderware InTouch SCADA system and manually entered data. The MIS system uses the collected data to generates reports for machine and line downtime analysis, batch system, material usage, lot tracking system, production and loss analaysis, and material balance studies.

Project Moore Factory Acceptance Test

Completed Factory Acceptance Test of an OEM raw material addition system in Bangkok, Thailand before equipment shipment to P&G's U.S. factory. Work included detailed electrical checks and testing of control and automation system .

QinQin Pringles Potato Crisp Line Quality Assurance System

Developed a Quality Assurance System at the QinQin Incorporoated Ltd. contract manufacturing site built on a Microsoft Access Database Server which allows quality data entry from remote client stations on the manufacturing line and laboratory. The system will automatically identify product on Hold/Release status, generate and graph statistical functions (CR, Tz, etc.) and provide detailed and summary reports.
