Engineering / Document Control (Project Management Team)

     
Provided services during contractor turn over and commissioning of the Acrylics Acid plant. Assisted in commissioning of several vendor packages. Conducted basic engineering studies and completed detailed design for several plant modifications. Developed detailed testing procedures for Class A safety interlock functions. Received engineering documents from main contractors, developed a document tracking system using MS Access Database and implemented site-wide document control activities
   

Steam Verbund Control System Design

     
Developed Instrumentation and Control Desgin Basis for the Steam Verbund project which integrates site steam production and usage of 3 independent process plants and Central Utilties back-up steam. Work included developing the detailed control concept, control interlock requirements, inter-site communication requirements, detailed instrument specification sheets and safety (HAZOP) studies
 
Cryovac ( Malaysia ) Sdn. Bhd.
Resin Conveying System Recontrol
     
Implemented a turnkey, savings project optimizing the delivery of resins to the process and the operation of the conveying compressors. The scope included generation of the optimized control strategy, modification of the existing PLC program / operator interface, and specification / installation of all electrical equipment including the addition of soft starters for the 90 kW compressor motors. The system was changed from a 2 compressor, continuous operation to a one compressor system with a run time of only 15-20%.
   

Line 1 Blender Retrofit

     
Completed power, control and instrumentation construction works for the addition of a resin blending system on line one. Scope included power feeders, instrument installation, wiring to existing PLC and commissioning support.
   

ShrinkTuff Project

     
Completed detailed logic design, PLC programming and commissioning for a new product line incorporating an additional resin to be delivered to the operating lines sharing the resin conveying system of the existing resin. Logic had to check for resin cross contamination and perform an automatic purge to prevent contamination.
   

Plant Expansion, 2 New Lines

     
Engineering, construction and pre-commissioning works for the Electrical, Instrumentation and Control systems of a new shrink wrap extrusion line and a foam extrusion line. Scope included project management, a high level field engineering, man power supply, supervision, and materials (MCC and main control panels supplied by principle). Work also included the complete turn-key design, procure, construct, commission of Resin Conveying System.
   

Cryovac Gas Metering Station

     
Installation of instruments/ cabling at MTBE and Cryovac sites for Cryovac Gas Metering Station. Scope included material supply, instrument installation, cabling works, and commissioning support.
   

Cryovac Plant Modification Projects

     
Electrical supply and construction works for several plant modifications including Line 1 IR Preheat System, Line 1 Closed Loop Control System, Line 3 IR Preheat system, and Resin Conveying system.
   

Resin Conveying System Recontrol

     
Completed detailed logic design, PLC programming and commissioning for reconfiguration of resin conveying system including the addition of new Resins to the system.
